TopicBox
TopicBox is an extraordinary tool for Primary teachers. It is a database of over 2,000 carefully-selected websites organised into typical teaching topics. The site aims to have no broken links so that teachers don’t waste any time. We hold an on-going contract to develop and support the TopicBox site and so from time to time new features are added, like new search-engine friendly addresses.
The design brief for TopicBox was that it should be very simple, fast-loading and graphically distinctive. You can be the judge of whether these aims have been met!
For those who are interested, the site was written using PHP scripts and the data is stored in a MySQL database.
